    We are excited to show Mary Poppins Returns! The movie and popcorn are free! Cans of pop are available for $1. Feel free to bring a pillow, stuffed animal, or blanket to get cozy! Children 7 & under need to be with an adult.

  1. Preschool Storytime!

    April 25, 2019, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM @ Storytime Room

    This weekly program is for children 3-6 years old. Each session will consist of theme-related stories, crafts, songs, and other fun activities. Adults are welcome to attend or may wait outside in the Children's Area. Feel free to come both days. We usually do different stories and crafts on Thursdays and Fridays. NO registration is required for this event.

  2. Author Visit Lindsey McDivitt tells Gwen Frostic's Story

    Lindsey McDivitt, author of the children’s picture book Nature’s Friend, will be visiting the Howard Miller Library as part of Michigan’s 2019 “Michigan Notable Authors Tour.” This year, authors whose engaging works were chosen as 2019 Michigan Notable Books selections will visit 50 libraries throughout the state. The Howard Miller Library is the exclusive stop on the tour for Ms. McDivitt and all are invited to come for a special program on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 10:00 am. This program is great for children and adults alike and we hope you will be able to join us. The 2019 Michigan Notable Books program and tour are made possible thanks to the generous support of the Library of Michigan, the Library of Michigan Foundation, Michigan Department of Education, Michigan Humanities, Meijer and the Michigan Center for the Book.
